Scholarships We Support

The Michael Skoubis Foundation is proud to partner with the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation and The 13th District of AHEPA and The Order of AHEPA (American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association). Additionally, we sponsor scholarships to deserving students in recognition of their academic achievements.

About The Scholarship Foundations

The foundation’s goal is ensuring that financially-deserving and academically-excellent undergraduates of Hellenic descent have the opportunity to pursue their education and career goals. Every year, they award $250,000 in scholarships to outstanding Greek American undergraduates. The annual selection of Scholarship Award Recipients is conducted by an Academic Committee appointed by the Board of Directors. This Committee works independently and makes its decisions based on established criteria. Members of the Board of Directors, Trustees, the Advisory Board, and employees of the Foundation may not serve on the Academic Committee.

One of the 26 Districts throughout America, annually awards academic scholarships and sponsors a Sports Award Banquet. This banquet honors Greek-American and AHEPA family high school and college athletes who have played any sport on their high school or college teams. They have a Scholar-Athlete Scholarship Program where, annually scholarships are presented to deserving male and female high school seniors or any college athlete who has excelled in athletics and maintained at least a B average academically.

A fraternal organization founded upon the ideals and principals of patriotism, service to America and the preservation and perpetuation of the Greek heritage of its brotherhood. In addition, AHEPA places strong emphasis on the encouragement of higher learning for Greek-American young adults by awarding scholarships through their Education Foundation Scholarship Program. Annually, they award over $1,000,000 in scholarships to deserving students throughout the nation. Another segment of the organization is dedicated to athletics in the community; both hosting of sports tournaments and the rendering of awards for athletic excellence.
